2015 2ND Term Volunteer Opportunities.

1. After-School Tutors (Field Volunteers)
Candidates who can work with children and support the planning and execution of after school activities every Wednesday from 12-3pm.

Areas of need;
i. Mathematics
ii. English Language
iii. Drama
iv. Dance (Cultural, Western)
v. Arts & Craft
vi. French
vii. Health and Hygiene Club
etc...
You can create your own club.

Team members would report to the Team Leader Inspire Learning.


2. Media and Publicity (Includes Online Volunteers)

A. Day-to-day management of all social media platforms
B. Constant generation of media contents
C. Designing, creating and managing campaigns and/or social media events to create inbound traffic and awareness for Beyond the Classroom
D. Perform other duties as needed
3. Special Events Team
Volunteer will be responsible for organizing special events such as;
- Children's Day
- World Dental Day
- International Sight Day
- Graduation Ceremony
- Teacher Training
- Volunteer Training

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

-Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization
-Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
-Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program
-Develop an annual budget and operating plan to support the program
-Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement
-Develop funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services
-Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization
-Ensure that program activities comply with all relevant professional standards
-Develop forms and records to document program activities

Profile of ideal candidates:
A. Anyone with flexible schedules
B. Must be willing to commit to at least 5 hours of work per week including weekends – could be more during peak periods
C. Strong organizational and communication skills
D. One with the capacity to manage activities from scratch through execution
E. One who is capable of working with limited or no supervision a
F. Must reside in Lagos. And anywhere in the world for Online volunteers (No 2)
