Delaying Sex After Marriage, Greatest Rewards.

With the upward trend of cohabitation as a trial marriage, couples who wait to have sex until marriage are quickly becoming a minority in western countries.
The general consensus is that exploration of sexual compatibility before the lifelong commitment would lead to a better marriage and by not doing one's marriage will be adversely impacted. If such belief were true, does it mean saving sex for marriage would lead to a worse marriage?
A study in the American Psychological Association's Journal of Family Psychology indicates that waiting after marriage not only does not harm a relationship, it actually provides many benefits.
A statistical analysis showed the following benefits enjoyed by couples who waited until marriage compared to those who started having sex in the early part of their relationship

Relationship stability was rated 22 percent higher. Relationship satisfaction was rated 20 percent higher Sexual quality of the relationship was rated 15 percent better, Communication was rated 12 percent better.
The longer participants waited to be sexual, the more stable and satisfying their relationships were once they were married. Gender had a relatively small influence on the dependent variables.
For the other dependent variables, the participants who waited to be sexual until after marriage had significantly higher levels of communication and sexual quality compared to the other two sexual timing groups. So even for couples who didn't wait until marriage, the benefits of delaying sexual involvement in their relationship still can be felt, although they were about half as strong.
"Most research on the topic is focused on individuals' experiences and not the timing within a relationship," said lead study author Dean Busby.

"There's more to a relationship than sex, but we did find that those who waited longer were happier with the sexual aspect of their relationship,"

Busby added. "I think it's because they've learned to talk and have the skills to work with issues that come up."
Sociologist Mark Regnerus of the University of Texas at Austin, who was not involved with this research, read the study and shared his take on the findings.

"Couples who hit the honeymoon too early – that is, prioritize sex promptly at the outset of a relationship – often find their relationships underdeveloped when it comes to the qualities that make relationships stable and spouses reliable and trustworthy,"

said Regnerus, author of Premarital Sex in America: How Young Americans Meet, Mate, and Think about Marrying*, a book forthcoming from Oxford University Press.

Because religious belief often plays a role for couples who choose to wait, Busby and his co-authors controlled for the influence of religious involvement in their analysis. Busby concludes,

"With the sample in this study it is clear that the longer a couple waited to become sexually involved the better their sexual quality, relationship communication, relationship satisfaction, and perceived relationship stability was in marriage, even when controlling fora variety of other variables such as the number of sexual partners, education, religiosity, and relationship length."

The result of this study should give one more reason to delay sex until marriage, since it benefits people who do so, regardless of religiosity.

ABORTION: CAUSES, METHODS AND CONSEQUENCES

Abortion is an operation or other intervention to end a pregnancy by removing an embryo or fetus from the womb. It is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy or the natural expulsion of a fetus from womb before it is able to survive independently.
Abortion is not just the killing of fetus; it is the murder of a living thing – your child.

It's hard to believe that we actually murder Children. And why? Mostly for the convenience's sake. We don't want to be bothered by emotional trauma or physical discomfort or public humiliation.

Look at some children around you today. This is who you are killing when you get abortion – not things, not even masses of tissue with potential. We are talking about lives with souls.

Did you know that at about:
18 days – the mouth of the baby begin to open
24 days – arms and legs begin to take shape
42 days – fingers are forming on the hand
67 days – hair is now growing
75 days – the baby is seeing.

If a miracle like this is growing inside you, how could killing it even be an option? In his book "Sex: It's worth waiting for", Greg Speck says: "Do you know what I wish for? I wish people had a little window to the womb. If people could only see babies in the womb, babies that are connected to their mothers, they wouldn't so quickly take a life away from them".

At least 50 percent of all individuals who go into an abortion clinic never come out alive. They say it's a safe procedure for mothers, but it's deadly for your baby.

CAUSES OF ABORTION
1. Fear for financial difficulty to raise the child
2. Fear to what people or parents might think or say
3. Fear to the 9 months of pregnancy and to the pain during the labor
4. Health problems
5. Rape
6. Hormonal contraceptives and so many more
7. Unwanted pregnancy: Let me emphasize that I don't believe any pregnancy is unwanted for singles because if you don't want it, you wouldn't involve yourself in sex whether protected or not. The only means I believe, of not getting pregnant is by staying chaste.

The main problem of abortion is psychological and is fear.

Although, some of these causes might look genuine but it is never a reason why you should kill your own baby or why you should advice someone to terminate a life.

METHODS OF ABORTION
Would you like to know what your child goes through if he/she is aborted? (I didn't use "it" because; it is meant for animals but your child is human). Here is some info, but let me first warn you that this isn't pretty, and reading about these methods could cause some emotional trauma, especially if you or someone you know has already had an abortion. If you know you might not be able to stand the pain reading these methods of abortion could bring, I would advice you shouldn't bother going far, you can stop at this point.

Ways to do abortion

1. SUCTION ASPIRATION: The abortionist first paralyzes the cervix (womb opening). He then inserts a hollow plastic tube with knife – like tip into the uterus. The tube is connected to a powerful with a suction force 29 times more powerful than a home vacuum cleaner. The procedure tears the baby's body into pieces and hose the frequency jerks as pieces of the baby become lodged. The placenta is then cut from the inner wall of the uterus and the scraps are sucked out into a bottle. As the baby head can't pass through the womb, it is introduced into the womb an instrument that compresses the little head and then takes it out.
2. DILATATION AND CURETAGE: This is similar to the suction aspiration except that the abortionist inserts a curette (a hook – shaped steel knife) into the uterus, which is used to cut the baby into pieces. The baby is then smashed and scraped from the wall of the uterus out through the cervix and discarded. As you can imagine, bleeding is usually profuse.
3. DILATATION AND EVACUATION: This method is usually performed after the third month. Instead of the hook – shaped knife usually used in D&C abortions, a pair forceps (just like the shape of pliers) is inserted into the womb to grasp part of the fetus. The teeth of the forceps twist and tear the bones of the unborn child. This process is repeated until the fetus is totally dismembered and remove. Usually the spine must be snapped and the skull crushed in order to remove them.
4. SAALINE INJECTION (SALT POISONING): This procedure is usually done after four months. Why? Because a certain amount of fluid needs to have built up in the sac around the baby. A long needle is thrust through the abdomen into the sac. The abortionist will suck out some of the fluid and then inject a salt solution. The baby will swallow this.
The child starts to jerk and kick, suffering severely because they are literally being burned alive by the solution inside the womb. If there ever ought to be a safe, protected place, it should be the womb. I wish both parents had to watch this procedure.
It will take the child more than an hour to die. If the woman has been pregnant for five months or longer, she will feel the baby fighting and kicking to live.
Usually within 24 hours, she will go into labor and deliver this tortured baby, dead, with skin burned away. But there is another problem. After all that suffering, the baby may still be born alive. Imagine wanting to live that much. The abortionist will sometimes take this poor burned baby and place it in a corner unattended to. Many times they will place a towel over the baby's face to induce suffocation, so that the baby will die. I think in other situations we would call this murder.
5. PROSTAGLADIN ABORTION: This is a hormone that induces labor. This form of abortion uses chemicals which cause the uterus to contract intensely, pushing out the developing baby. The contractions are more violent than normal natural contractions, so the baby dies from trauma of delivery. Many, however, have also been born alive.
6. RU – 486: This is a drug that produces an abortion taken after the mother misses her period. Its effect is to block a crucial hormone that causes the uterine lining to no longer provide food, fluid, and oxygen to the baby. Without this hormone the baby can't survive. When the abortion is complete the mother will see a tiny blob of tissue – her baby. (Note that RU – 486 is not a contraceptive because it does not prevent fertilization or implantation. It is used only after the mother missed her period and the baby is at least two to three weeks old).

I hope you see how sick and wrong is it to abort your baby. This is like a medieval torture. Notice that I do not call these people that perform abortions doctors, because doctor takes a pledge to protect life, and these people make a living by killing babies. (They are murderers).

CONSEQUENCES OF ABORTION
Physical Consequences:
1. Drugs containing RU – 486 can cause liver damage, kidney destruction, heart muscle compromise, pulmonary failure, gastrointestinal pathology, and bone marrow suppression. It has also been reported to cause loss of speech function, strokes, and convulsion.
2. An increase risk of breast, cervical, ovarian and liver cancer
3. Complications, such as uterine perforation, cervical laceration, and placenta previa can not only cause very severe problems, but they can also lead to problems in future pregnancies, such as miscarriages, premature births, fetal deaths and children born with handicaps because any problem or change with a woman's reproductive organ may affect the development of her children.
4. Infection, including pelvic inflammatory disease, occurs in 30% of abortions; if not stopped soon enough, they can leave a woman barren.
5. Tremendous increase in the level of promiscuity and sexually transmitted diseases
6. Up to 127% risk for premature births in subsequent pregnancies; the rate is higher with multiple abortions
7. Death

Psychological consequences
1. Diminished respect for human life
2. Denial, guilt, sadness, and grieving at the death of the aborted baby that would be a woman's natural, feminine feelings and emotions
3. Psychological reactions like alcoholism, smoking, drug abuse, sexual addictions, and self destructive behavior.
4. Post abortion syndrome: depression to suicide or attempted suicide
5. Overwhelming feelings of regret or guilt during later pregnancies
6. Flashback and nightmares
7. Destruction of trust between men and women
8. Increased rates of divorce, domestic violence and child abuse
9. feelings of guilt or regret among fathers

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX

Sex is:
 a covenant exchange of two people in marriage environment for the purpose of unity and procreation.
 the difference between a male and female gender
 physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional in nature
 Risky; you can get pregnant, get a sexually transmitted disease, have your heart broken or ego bruised, or feel let down and disappointed when it is over
 a process; you only get one chance to loose your virginity
 good
 meant for Re – Creation (Creating new offspring) Sex is NOT:
 a way to make somebody love you or make a commitment to you
 a test of your love for your partner
 a measure of how mature or grown up you are
 a good way to assert independence
 recreation (Refreshment of the mind and body after work) or a leisure activity
 an event; it don't just happen (unless you are a victim rape)
 commitment or intimacy. If sex create commitment, then those prostitutes should have a lot of commitment from the different people who sleep with them and still get paid. Facts you must know
 God is the originator of sex. He made us sexual being. Therefore, it is normal to feel sexual urge. If sometimes you feel like having sex, don't think something is wrong with you because it is normal to feel so except you are just a pack of wood that doesn't have blood, water, feelings, emotion etc.  In his book, 'Sex Straight talk', Sam Adeyemi told a story of a young man who became born again and was zealous for God. He found out to his dismay that as prayerful and spiritual as he was, he still was sexually aroused, and was being tormented, so he said, by thoughts of women. One day he locked himself in his room and sliced off his penis, because he took literally what Jesus said that if your hand would hinder you from getting to heaven, cut it off. The guy didn't envisage the grave consequences of his action. He was alone in the room and was soon bleeding profusely with pain. Afraid he might die suddenly, he screamed for attention. Neighbours got him quickly to hospital where newsmen found him. "Why did you do this to yourself," they asked him. His sexual thoughts were troubling him from serving God, he said. This is a case of a man trying to deny his sexuality. We shouldn't deny who we are – Sexual Beings. Attraction between the opposite sexes is natural and normal. Rather than deny or pretend about our sexuality, we should accept it and then learn what to do to manage it.
 Your most important sex organ is your mind. If you gain control of your mind, then you have gained control of your life
 The quantity of sex does not make a relationship valid. It is the quality of the relationship that makes sex valid.
 Sex is powerful but not impossible to control‎
 The most appropriate occasion to have sex for the first time is not when you are matured but when you are married
 Sex is not meant for boys and girls, it is meant for men and women in a marriage environment
 Unless you want to get pregnant, you must practice abstinence.
Don't let anyone tell you that with BIRTH CONTROL you cannot get pregnant – that's a lie. The only sure way of not getting pregnant is SELF CONTROL. The most popular mentioned and used birth control tool is condom.
To listen to sex educators you would think condom is a safe and effective way to prevent pregnancy and STDs.
Everyday sex education classes promote condoms as a means of safe sex or at least safer sex. But the research on condoms provides no such guarantee. It's no longer news that condoms are only 87 percent effective in preventing pregnancy and 69 percent effective in reducing the risk of HIV infection. And according to a study in the 1992 Family Planning Perspectives, 15 percents of married couples who use condoms for birth control end up with an unplanned pregnancy within the first year and 36 percent within the second year. Again also, I posted on my facebook wall few months ago about a guy who called me he was at one of our event early this year, where I spoke on SAFE SEX. He called and said, "I started having sex at 18 and now I'm 27, I just called to let you know that I agree with the fact that condoms are not safe; my three living kids and two aborted babies were all conceived while I was using condoms".
Then what is safe about birth control?
 The only protection against Sexually transmitted diseases is living the abstinence lifestyle
 You can get pregnant or catch Sexually transmitted infections the very first time you have sex, even if you use protection
 Nobody has ever died from not having sex. I have yet to read the obituary section of the newspaper or an obituary bill which says "Gone Too soon, Matthew Adedoyin, 1987 – 2011, died of virginity. Yet there are young people dying because they bought into the lie that they can't be expected to control their sexual urge.
 Sex is a progression. It doesn't just happen unless you are a victim of rape
 The more time you spend listening to music with sexually degrading lyrics, the more likely you are to initiate intercourse and other sexual activities. Finally, the best motivational and inspirational book I've ever read – The bible stated it clear that our body is the temple of the living God. Therefore It must not be defiled which means Pre – Marital Sex (Fornication) and Extra – Marital Sex (Adultery) is not just sin against God, it is also a sin against your body.
 Thanks.
 Stay Chaste.
'Abstinence lifestyle pays' It keeps you from safe STDs, unwanted pregnancy, emotional and psychological trauma, problems, bruised ego, broken heart, abortion etc]

Want to Be a Real Leader? Forget "You" by Joel Peterson

Charles de Gaulle, President of France and no shrinking violet himself, liked to remind people that "the cemeteries are full of indispensable men." Forget that reminder of humility, and you're unlikely to build something that lasts longer than you do.
In his seminal book "Good to Great," Jim Collins makes the critical observation that some "rockstar" CEOs leave a company with record earnings, productivity, and reputation – but that the same organization crashes and burns soon after they leave. That's a great example of a leader who ensures his or her own fame and success, rather than the long-term security of the company.
Strong leaders can often feel that they're making the vital difference to everything – and everyone – in an organization. They believe that the firm's legacy and their legacy is one and the same. But that kind of self-importance (après moi, le deluge) is toxic to trust-building. Leaders with a me-first attitude are often too distracted playing the smartest guy in the room to realize the floodwaters have already begun to risebefore they make their exits.
That's exactly what happened at Enron. When Jeff Skilling proclaimed "I am Enron," the energy giant was at its peak. If Skilling had had the humility to pull his head out of the clouds, he might have seen the water was already ankle-high. The hubris of the Lay-Skilling-Fastow team didn't just destroy Enron; their lack of humility damaged the public's trust in business leaders generally. With a raft of scandals at WorldCom, Tyco, Global Crossing and Enron, it wasn't just these companies or their leaders who took the trust hit; we all did.
If you want to build something enduring, try the opposite approach. Internalize the notion that you're a temporary steward, guiding people, assets, and decision-making, and protecting the values and vision that make an organization what it is. Part of humility is building for a future you won't see, and ensuring that the best parts of the business not only last, but can be built upon by the next generation of leaders.
One of my favorite examples of humility comes from the 1950's farm machinery industry and Moline, Illinois. After a century of dominance by International Harvester (IH), competitor John Deere got a new president in Bill Hewitt, a Harvard Business School dropout and the great-grandson of John Deere himself. Hewitt set about turning the business into a multinational corporation. He gained a reputation as a well-liked leader and quick learner, and the trust he inspired in his employees helped Deere leapfrog past IH to lead the industry. At the end of Hewitt's nearly 3-decade tenure, people said, "He made us realize how good we were."
It's hard to imagine higher praise for a leader: one who's capable of building trust between people, and of empowering them to trust themselves.
Leaders determined to build cultures where trust is more than just a feel-good notion know that it's hard work. As Herman Miller CEO Max De Pree said, "Earning trust is not easy, nor is it cheap, nor does it happen quickly. Earning trust is hard and demanding work. Trust comes only with genuine effort, never with a lick and a promise."
It may sound like a paradox, but to be effective, high-trust leaders must see themselves as both vital and dispensable. The 10th critical element for building a high-trust enterprise is having the humility to recognize the other 9 (discussed in the prior posts):
1) Ensuring personal integrity
6) Developing a trust-building budget
7) Making sure no one is "kept in the dark"
It's a lot to shoulder, and there is plenty of room for error at every step. Which is why addressing all of these elements requires a level of selflessness – of ego-suspension – that is critical to finding the right answers and learning from inevitable mistakes. Unless leaders have the humility to learn, to grow, and to weather the journey along with us, few will want to trust them. Without that trust, they won't succeed, and neither will we.
Building a durable, high-trust culture means focusing on the success and well-being of those around you – on the organization as a whole, but primarily on the people that give it energy and life. If you want to be a high-trust leader, you've got to be in the center – but you can't be the center.

"Everyday is an opportunity for a whole NEW beginning. What's that one thing you can do differently today to create positive change in your life and in the world? Think & ACT NOW"

Iyanla Vanzant: 5 Steps To Breaking A Negative Pattern

Q: How do I break a negative pattern?

1. First, notice it.

Maybe you always end up in drama-filled relationships, or you go through endless cycles of overreacting and guilt. The challenge with negative patterns is that they're unconscious. But we can train our minds to recognize them by paying attention to our emotions: When we feel pain we've felt countless times before, we must ask ourselves why.

2. Second, know its cause.

We fall into patterns because we fail to face reality. We return to the same bad situation, hoping that this time will be different. I've said it before: What we resist will persist. When we aren't honest with ourselves about what we feel, we are doomed to repeat our mistakes.

3. Slow down!

Many patterns occur because we move too fast to see things for what they really are. We meet someone today and go on a date tomorrow, and by the next day, we're already imagining the wedding. The key is to manage our expectations to see what's really occurring right in front of us.

4. Forgive yourself.

Forgiveness clears out the residue of the past. Until we forgive ourselves for what we did, did not do, or should have done, we will repeat our patterns. But when the mind is clear of guilt and shame, it focuses on what is here instead of what was, and lets us take each moment as it comes.

5. Check in.

When we recognize that we're doing (again) what we've always done, we can't wait: We must stop ourselves in the moment. Ask yourself, What am I doing, and why? Breathe yourself through that thought -- and make another choice right then and there.

Living a Disciplined Life

It takes determination to live a disciplined life. Do you know there are ladies who go to the club and never come back? For some, their drinks are drugged, some guys have night accidents as a result of driving under the influence of alcohol, some girls are used for rituals, some are initiated into secret societies. The question is: Is clubbing Bad? Remember the maxim. "You must always be at the right place at the right time". Never you be in a place you know the grace of God won't protect you. Don't abuse the suffeciency of God's mercies.

Its a decision to club and a decision to use your night hours to reflect on how better your life could possibly be or have a peaceful sleep instead. We have the freedom to act, but our actions either make or mar our future. Exposure has both negative and positive sides. Why do young people do things they would on a good day won't want their Parents to be aware of? Living a disciplined life entails a whole lot of sacrifices. A story of a young man who went for a wedding ceremony. While at the event, a very fair gorgeous lady approached him. He got so attracted and began a conversation with her. After then, he stylishly asked for the lady out and asked to spend the night with him. After series of persuasion, the lady agreed. On their way home, the lady sexually aroused the young man. So while driving home, the girl put her mouth on the private parts of the man till he was sexually satisfied. While at the middle of a bridge, the lady asked for the man to stop the car, so she could spit out the content from the man's private part away. She instructed the man not to look back, but he stubbornly did. Only to find the lady jumping into the sea from the bridge. Then he came down to discover she was no longer there. Then he knew his life was finished. The life of that young man was never the same. He started experiencing continuous bad luck, all round failure and all sort of negativity was prominent in his life. The lady had sucked his destiny, the lady manipulated him with what she took out of him (sperm)

Do u know you have to be careful about whatsoever comes out from your body, your hair, your sperm, your menstral blood, your sweat, your blood, your nails, your saliva. These contents are what is being used against a person because it's a part of you that represents your whole. The young man felt he had caught a big fish to spend the night with, but whereas, a big fish caught him and dealt with him mercilessly. He sought spiritual help from a prominent bible believing church and attended series of deliverance sessions and through the process shared his story.
So many young guys sleep with random girls and go away with them. (Only in a short run). Many ladies follow Sugar daddies who spend extravagantly on them in exchange of their virtues. Many people steal and amass wealth. The end will tell. Do we most times measure the lavish spending on young girls by older men who sleep with them, compared with what the young girl offers in return? We most times can't eat our cake and have it. Living a disciplined life is our key legacy on earth.
The best way we can live a disciplined life is to itemise our few weakpoints, pray about them, tell God to take control. Make resolutions and promise God you won't do such acts again. Living a disciplined life would make you a responsible and better person. You would be proud of yourself.

Youthful exuberance has resulted in elongated years of struggle. A journey of four years, could be extended for forty years if precautions are not taken. As students, concentrate in school, avoid negative friends, avoid clubbing, avoid exam malpractice. As a working class man/woman, be sincere in your dealings, be hard working, be innovative. As a single youth, be prayerful, be disciplined, keep yourself. As a married person, be faithful to your spouse, appreciate your spouse daily. Tell your husband you love him, tell your wife she's beautiful and kiss her on her forehead daily. As a parent, train your child in the way of the Lord.

Young people should not be carried away by the lost of the flesh. Do not let the desire for money, fame and lust take a reasonable part of You. Be patient, prioritise your life, live according to biblical principles and in retrospect, you would reap good fruits.
