Lucrative things students can do this ASUU strike period.

You may say its too late to get something done this break, but it's never too late to try.
The ongoing Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) strike which has been on for over 3 months is alarming and students are the susceptible victims of the action.
•The only way you can make genuine money is to provide solutions to social problems. Most especially social problems around you. Look around you, there's one problem that needs your solution.

•Students have been engaging is some lucrative things, many volunteer in organisations, some do menial jobs, some teach in nearby primary or secondary schools, assist parents in their business, but a reasonable number of people chill at home, hoping the strike would be called off soon.
• The ASUU strike has lured many students into discovering their talents. Some too are using their time in some other positive ways. Some parents don't give financial allowances to their wards, since school ain't in session. Undergraduates therefore devise survival alternatives.
>Here are some suggestions on stuffs you can do this break and continue even when school resumes.
(1) Trading- Buy and Sell Items such as Underwears, accessories, clothing and foot wares, gadgets, etc. *But be very careful before you embark on any business venture (work with trusted people who have been in the business for a reasonable period.
(2)- Complete your semester syllabus and read what you have been taught. So whenever school resumes, you won't be blank.
(3)- Apply for Holiday jobs- This would require the need to apply formally to the organisation of interest, along side a motivation letter and Resume.*yes Resume* you ought to have a CV as an undergraduate. At least you have SSCE, and have probably held leadership positions in the past.
You necessarily don't need to get paid. The long term benefit is the gathered experience.
(4)- Go on Internships- You learn on the Job. There are lot of internship opportunities available online, such as the Sesewa Vacancies posted on the blog earlier.
(5)- Instead of whiling away time with friends who are into runs or immoral acts,  decided to commit your time in developing yourself:  Read personal development books, download materials of interest online. Attend trainings and capacity building seminars or workshops. Visit blogs and impact driven sites, research on the biographies of successful people and strategies on how they got to where they are now.
(6)- Be creative- Learn how to make hair, make shoes, make Ankra bags, tailoring, nice trendy hair cut(barber), fix cars(mechanic), furniture(carpenter) , fix electronics (electrician), graphic design, blogging, cake making, bead making, and whatsoever innovative thing of interest.
(7)-Improve your IT skills. Many have chosen to ignore the fact we are in the computer age; where most of our day-to-day activities are computer based. One of the best alternative to whatever you have learnt in school is being an ICT (Information Communication Technology) based entrepreneur. ICT offer varieties of opportunities; be it Graphics (Art), Multi-media, Data management and so much more.
> Even after the strike is called off, with these skills learnt, you can continue to make money in school to sustain yourself. The  strike might have turned ladies into Prostitutes and the boys to dip their hands in dirty stuffs. Its not too late to give up those acts. Surrender now.
Get closer to God this period. Most youths are idle and susceptible to negative happenings, but it takes the grace of God and discerning spirit to phantom and do the right things.
Are you a young person? and you have wasted your time all these while? It's time to retrace your steps and set your priorities right. Write down your long and short term goals, then begin to work on it from today.
Wish you the very best.
Share with your friends and other students.
